I was feeling the need to paint something other than a building or a mountain, I needed to paint an animal....my favorite things in the world, I think. I chose to paint a Siamese cat, for my mom, who grew up with Siamese cats as a young child. I'm pretty pleased with this. 6"x8" oil on masonite.
