Silence

This was a perfect day to paint this painting as it is raining buckets here in South Carolina. I love a rainy day (just one) because of all the cliches that go along with it. It is quiet, and cleansing, and gives me a sense of renewal when it is all over. It also lets me sit inside without feeling guilty about not being outside doing "something".

Hi Amy! Glad you found us on our blog. This is Bethany and Billy with the Airstream/art blog Full Hook Ups. Billy used to work at the ACK artist association (about 5 years back) and he said you look familiar to him. It's always great to touch base with a fellow Nantucketer. It has been over a year since we have been there. Too long! We are going to spend a week or two out there in June. I can't wait.

We loved Hilton Head and may come back down this Fall if we do not end up heading West instead. If we do end up down there I will email you for sure. Until then any advice on how to ward off these noseeums? I am covered in bites from my ears to my toes! Lol.

Thanks for the advice on the Fox gallery. We drove past it today and will go back to check it out this weekend. Charleston is a mind blow. It's much bigger than I expected it to be.

I am off to read through your blog and take a look at your paintings! Thanks for contacting us!

Well, congrats. Seems you have reached your pinnacle you always spoke of.

Strange how we distance ourselves from the past while living it.

I am most happy for you.
